Name: Ashley

The Character
Character's Name: Minerva McGonagall
Character's Gender: Female
Character's Appearance: Mini is a 51 year old, young-hearted teacher. She has long, black hair that is slightly graying at the roots and also is usually tied in a bun. She is 5'9" with a relatively slender build. With dazzling blue eyes accented by square glasses, she teaches the students at Hogwarts School of Wizardry with passion for her subject of Transfiguration, which she sees as the most difficult brach of magic.
Character's History: Mini began teaching at Hogwarts 14 years after she herself graduated with honors. When she was only ten years old, she realized that she could trasfigure herself into a cat. This fascinated her, therefore, transfiguration was her favorite subject. Coming from a single parent home, she often sees herself as a role model in her student's lives. After her mother died, when she was only three, her father moved to London to dedicate his life to raising Mini. These were the happiest years of her life, living alone with her father.
She has never been married, though she had been close a couple of times (namely Sniply Garfoogle II, what a hunk!, and Waltington Farfelu....loser!) After her uneventful seven years at Hogwarts, Mini struck out on her own to follow in her father's footsteps as a magical lawyer on Level 5 of the Ministry of Magic: Department of International Magical Cooperation. After a few years, Mini realized that her true calling was back at the school she called home: Hogwarts. She is now the Deputy Headmistress under her dear friend Prof. Dumbledore, Head of Gryffindor House, and Prof. of Transfiguration.
Character's Personality: Mini is strict but fair. She has a passion for teaching and loves her students. Her passions (besides her students) include the History of Magic and Quidditch (you should see her root for the home team at the games). She is also quite wise (as her name shows). She is very reserved but also outspoken when she has an opinion. She is a devote supporter of Dumbldore and is also a member of the Order of the Pheonix. She is very friendly (as seen with her relationship with Peeves). Her personality is ever changing with the different events that go on at Hogwarts.
I adore my students, though some deserve quite a slap on the head. I try to restrain myself.
